Your Specific Responsibilities: The incumbent in this position will work directly with the Office of FL-Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) Division of Community Health Promotion to support Citrus and Marion County initiatives. Incumbent will provide training and other technical support to both internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent will provide strategic planning and assessment support towards organizational objectives. Maintain responsibility over the monitoring identifying community needs and opportunities for development. This is a highly engaged position requiring excellent communication skills both written and verbal. The incumbent in this position will work directly with the Office of FL-Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) Division of Community Health Promotion. Incumbent will provide training and other technical support to both internal and external stakeholders to promote continuous process and performance improvement. The incumbent will provide support towards organizational objectives, identifying organizational competency needs and opportunities for development. This is a highly engaged position requiring excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Facilitates Citrus County Opioid Task Force initiatives. Assists in program outreach and educational efforts, including tabling, presentations, and demonstrations. Communicates with stakeholders to share relevant data trends or other items as appropriate for oversee prevention. Analyzes program/response needs and helps develop actions plans/materials as appropriate. Develops trainings, presentations, and other written communications to support the Office of FL-Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) Division of Community Health Promotion. Provides in-house training to staff as appropriate. Completes annual review for the OD2A workplan for Citrus and Marion Counties. Utilizes appropriate improvement tools including process mapping, root causing and action planning. Provides information to State office and other stakeholders as appropriate. Implementation of activities and achievement of objectives. Harm Reduction Anti stigma messaging. Support peer specialist through task force participation of and focus groups. Support law enforcement and emergency medical services with education and resources for families and those with substance use disorder. Coordinate Community educational summit/community events. Coordinate providing materials for jail inmates as they are released and have s substance use disorder. Provides support and resources to drug related courts and probation offices. Performs additional tasks as assigned to support the Office of FL-Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) Division of Community Health Promotion and the Department of Health in Citrus and Marion Counties. Ability to develop data collection templates, collect, analyze, and evaluate various forms of data. Ability to speak professionally in public to both small and large groups.
