We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing parts inventory, ensuring timely procurement, and supporting our supply chain operations. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and effective supplier management skills to maintain optimal stock levels and meet customer demands.
Duties
-Ensures proper inventory control so that the parts inventory is at the proper levels.
-In coordination with the Service Manager, manages the parts’ budget.
-Orders parts as needed to ensure timely delivery.
-Stocks parts when delivered.
-Handles parts requests from technicians.
-Manages warranty bins.
-Communicates as necessary with vendors regarding parts’ quality, delivery, etc.
-Orders parts as necessary ensuring proper inventory levels.
-Evaluates vendors ensuring the highest quality parts at the most cost effective prices.
-Other duties as required.
Proven experience in parts management or a related field within the automotive industry is preferred.
