We’re looking for a skilled, self-motivated individual with experience cutting beef and lamb, and producing value-added items such as sausages, bacon, and more.
This role requires someone who can work independently, maintain a strong focus on food safety, and take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality results. The ideal candidate brings attention to detail, efficiency, and a genuine passion for meat craftsmanship.
30 hours a week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fabricate, package, and label raw beef and lamb cuts according to in-house standards
- Produce value-added items such as broth, jerky, tallow, beef bacon, sausages, and more
- Maintain inventory and ensure accurate rotation
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized in compliance with our HACCP plan and food safety guidelines
- Aid in pickups from USDA processing partners as needed
- Perform other tasks to support the operation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ year of meat processing experience, particularly beef and lamb fabrication
- Familiarity with value-added meat products (jerky, sausage, bacon, etc.)
- Strong food safety knowledge; Food Safety Manager Certification is a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work comfortably in a cold environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, with solid organization skills
- Valid driver's license; clean driving record
- Able to pass background check and periodic drug testing
