Premier Security is seeking Experienced Armed Security Officer Lake City , FL. The officer best suited for the position is team-oriented, a quick thinker, and takes initiative in problematic situations.
This is not an entry-level position. Prior Law Enforcement, Military Training, or Security Emergency Response Team Experience is preferred. A current Statewide firearm license and your own firearm and level 2 or higher holster is required. Candidate must have a valid Florida driver license and clean driving record.

Armed Security Officer
Responds to unusual or emergency situations at the client sites using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response by following established protocols.
Monitors and helps control access to client property. Monitors for unauthorized access to the client’s premises and deters trespass, theft or intentional destruction of property.
Observes and reports activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of client’s property, personnel and visitors.
Conducts foot tours and vehicle patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
Preserves order and acts to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
Monitors entrances and exits; acts to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry; controls entrances, the movement of people and vehicles, and parking.
Patrols assigned site on foot and by vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security and tenant violations.
Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives or company management.
Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, , hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
Prepares logs and reports as required.
