Q LAKE LODGE NOW HIRING Dockhand/Maintenance for Summer 2025

This position to be filled is a Remote Full-Time position for the summer of 2025. Start time: Mid May-Mid September. 7 Days a week 8-12 hr days. Pay: $3300/month plus Tips. Dock job description includes: -Works directly with lead hand manager, -Physical job, must be able to be on your feet 80% of the time, -In charge of filling boats, empty garbage's, septic, stack wood, clean fish house, grass/weed cutting, empty fire pits, -General repair/maintenance at lodge & outpost island camping, must be able to drive a boat, groundskeeper after checkout. Carpentry/or Mechanic experience is an asset! Requirements: -to be able to be on feet 80% of the time, -Avid interest in the outdoors, -Ability to work independently, -Valid driver's licence with a clean record, -Capable of lifting heavy loads ( 50 lbs. ), propane tanks, boat motors, building supplies. Self Motivation: -To easily adapt to busy and slow times of the season, -finding things to do, -to be comfortable with interacting with guests, and staff in a small work environment, -Fast passed environment, physically demanding. Manual dexterity: -combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling. Q Lake Lodge has ZERO tolerance for use/abuse and or excessive drinking & activities that negatively impacts work performance. Q Lake is a family owned and run fishing lodge located at Caribou Landing, MB in the Nopiming Provincial Park. Has access to three lakes; Quesnel, Manigotagan, & Happy Lake. The nearest small town is Bissett, MB located 5 miles off the main Hwy 304. While, Pinefalls, MB is located about 130 kms Northeast from camp. Our main camp consists of the main office, a common kitchen/dining area & owners residence. The staff have private cabins to themselves with access to laundry facilities.
