Projects I

As the Special Projects, you will have the capacity to move from one construction disciple to another where demands require. You will also have the ability to design and read plans or renderings to achieve desired objectives. As a Projects I, you will:Knowledge and experience in building materialsIntermediate to excellent electrical skills and basic plumbing knowledgeBasic to intermediate masonry skillsBuilds forms and pours concreteCuts out and patches asphaltRemoves and/or installs paver bricks, barbecue grills, etc.Digs trenchesOperates heavy equipment such as front-end loader, forklift, and related equipmentInstalls and repairs fencing and barriersParticipates in major clean-up projects such as lakefront, storm damage, etc.Operates chainsawAny other construction projects not covered by contractorsCleans up the work area and leave it in a neat, safe conditionMust always adhere to all safety requirements and use the proper PPESets up and uses ladders and/or scaffolding, as well as boom and scissor liftsAbility to assist all other trades when needed.Drive golf carts and company-tagged vehicles as per policy
