We’re currently seeking a motivated, personable, and knowledgeable Boat Salesperson to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner, both in the showroom and on the lot.
Conduct needs analysis to match customers with the right boat, motor, and accessories based on their lifestyle, budget, and experience level.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current inventory, product features, promotions, and financing options.
Provide accurate product information and detailed boat walkthroughs.
Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
Follow up with prospects and past customers to build long-term relationships and generate repeat business.
Assist in arranging test drives and sea trials as needed.
Collaborate with service, finance, and delivery departments to ensure a smooth and professional customer experience from sale to delivery.
Attend dealership events, boat shows, and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
Previous sales experience, preferably in boats, automotive, or recreational vehicles.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
Customer-first attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work weekends and extended hours during peak seasons.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; boating license a plus.
Passion for boating and knowledge of marine products preferred.
