This position is in our shipping and receiving department, but is much more than shipping and receiving. We are an FAA approved Part 145 Component Repair shop and we must track all parts entering and leaving our facility. There is an extensive set of procedures to follow and the Administrative manager must be capable of doing the following things:
1) supervising shipping and receiving including US exports, that may require special attention due to export laws (we have an outside logistics company, you will work with), 2) keeping track of over 2,000 parts in a system that may require multiple processes, some internal and some with outside vendors, 3) putting together a binder by Repair Order, documenting everything with each part from receiving to final shipment and 4) must have a pleasant demeanor and be able to work with multiple persons in the shop.
We offer 12 PTO days per year and 8 paid holidays including two at Christmas and two at Thanksgiving. We also have a 401(K) and the company contributes a minimum of 3% of your compensation after 90 days, but up to 6% if you contribute to the plan.
