We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marina Manager to oversee our premier marina located in the stunning Florida Keys. Nestled in a tropical paradise, our marina offers storage amenities and services to boaters, and water enthusiasts. Position Overview: As the Marina Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, management, and strategic development of our marina. This includes overseeing boat slips, dock facilities, fuel stations, maintenance, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marina operations, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to lead a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of marina operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, safety, and efficiency.
2. Customer Service: Foster a customer-centric environment, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all marina guests.
3. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise marina staff, fostering a cohesive and motivated team.
4. Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-effective measures to maximize profitability.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to marina operations and environmental standards.
6. Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies to attract new customers and enhance the marina's reputation.
7. Maintenance and Facilities: Oversee regular maintenance of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure safety and functionality.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marina management or a related field.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of marina operations, safety, and environmental regulations.
Certified forklift operator with 3-5 years experience
Familiarity with financial management and budgeting.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Boating and nautical knowledge preferred.
