Job Description:
As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks in accordance with technical drawings, welding codes, and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for experienced welders as well as those newly certified who are eager to grow and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-core welding (based on experience and project needs)
-Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
-Ensure high-quality welds that meet company and customer specifications
-Operate welding equipment and tools safely and effectively
-Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
Qualifications:
-Must have a technical degree or welding certification from an accredited institution
-Welding experience ranging from entry-level to advanced welcome
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
-Must be local to Jacksonville, FL
-Availability to work 1st or 2nd shift as needed
