We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Turf Crew Foreman to lead our new artificial turf installation crew. If you have a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and experience in turf installation or landscaping, we want to hear from you!
Position Overview:
As the Turf Crew Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and working alongside a team of installers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to our high standards of quality. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a crew of turf installers, ensuring efficiency and quality workmanship
Work alongside the crew to perform physical labor, including grading, compacting, and laying turf to meet project specifications.
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and measurements for proper turf installation
Oversee grading, base preparation, turf layout, cutting, seaming, and securing
Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment related to turf installation
Ensure job sites are safe, clean, and organized
Communicate with clients and project managers to provide updates and address concerns
Train and mentor crew members to enhance their skills and productivity
Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and project progress
Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in the field
Qualifications:
✅ Experience in artificial turf installation (preferred) or landscaping/construction
✅ Proven leadership experience, managing crews or job sites
✅ Ability to operate heavy equipment (mini skid steers, compactors, etc.)
✅ Knowledge of grading, base compaction, and drainage principles
✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
✅ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
✅ Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
✅ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
✅ Fluency in English
