Job Overview:
Gold Star Irrigation is looking for a skilled laborer to assist our Irrigation Technicians during larger, 2-to-3-man jobs such as repairs and installs. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of irrigation systems; however, we will train for the right person. The candidate must have a working knowledge of yard hand tools and the proper use of them, as well as be able to work 8-hour days in the Florida summers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the main irrigation technician in repairing or installing irrigation systems
- Perform regular inspections to identify leaks or malfunctions
- Adjust system components to ensure proper coverage and distribution of water
- Operate hand tools and power tools for digging and trenching as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lawn care, garden maintenance, or landscape irrigation
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for landscape work
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of different types of irrigation systems and components is ideal, but not required
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work on uneven terrain
This job may be somewhat flexible on hours, to be determined by the need of the company.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
