Job description
Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and POS systems efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the cashier station.
Balance cash drawers and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
Assist in taking orders and packaging takeaways when necessary.
Comply with all financial policies and regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Cashier or similar role in a restaurant setting.
Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS systems.
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
