Pay: $17 per hour
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Description:We are seeking skilled Welders to join our team for the construction of Safe rooms. This role involves a variety of tasks including MIG welding, TIG welding (eventually), building wall panels, drywall installation, painting, and using hand and power tools to measure and cut various materials.Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding and eventually some TIG welding.
Construct wall panels and assist in the overall construction of Safe rooms.
Install drywall, paint, and perform other construction-related tasks.
Use hand and power tools to measure and cut materials accurately.
Work in teams of 4-6 to construct Safe rooms.
Read and work off of drawings (training provided).
Accurately read a tape measure down to the 1/16th of an inch.
Qualifications:
Ability to read a tape measure down to the 1/16th of an inch.
Pass a MIG welding test.
Experience in construction, assembly, fabrication, or a shop setting.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Knowledge of using chop saws, bandsaws, and shears is a plus.
Comfortable reading a tape measure and square, and cutting products to size.
