Interpret and incorporate relevant standards and customer requirements into system architectures. Create, review, and release system specifications and other engineering documentation related to the signaling systems. Take ownership of the design, architecture, documentation, and function of signaling systems. Support test and commissioning, production, and manufacturing teams. Integrate signaling systems into rail vehicles. Work on technical coordination with other stakeholders including installation planning, electrical and mechanical engineering, fire protection, etc. Support static and dynamic field testing as well as wayside and on-board testing.Requirements: Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any) or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Project Engineer- related occupation.Position requires experience in the following:

Leading teams for mass transit railroad projects and signaling systems.

Developing system design solutions or railway and SCADA systems.

Working with design and integration of PLC Systems (Simatic S7).

Planification and execution of installation, testing, and commissioning activities for interlocking systems including its subcomponents (axle counters, point machines, and signals) and CBTC (Balise, onboard, and Airlink).

Integration and functionality of project subsystems related to Interlocking and Onboard Signaling systems, specifically CBTC (TGMT).

Work with project teams, individuals, and subcontractors to meet project schedules and budget.

Leading and supporting bid teams for activities related to signaling projects.

Telecommuting may be permissible pursuant to company policies. 20% domestic and international travel is required.
