Manufacturing Company of Construction Industry Equipment located in greater Jacksonville FL area is seeking a hands-on experienced Controller.
The Candidate must have solid communication, technology analytical and management skills. Attention to detail is essential. This position requires at least five (5) years of relevant experience with a thorough knowledge of QuickBooks.
Duties include:
Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions
Managing the accumulation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results.
Establish and report against KPI’s for the business
Strong cost accounting background is a plus
Coordinating and preparing financial statements
Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
Managing the budget process
Providing timely and accurate financial reports to the CPA firm on a monthly basis
Developing and monitoring business performance throughout the company
Be knowledgeable of all phases of the accounting process; Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll,
Invoicing, Inventory
Preparing any and all statements that follow all regulatory and accounting guidelines
Researching any issues prior to month-end reporting
