Job Summary:
Andrew Distribution Inc. is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Drivers to join our team in Southern Gainesville, FL. This position involves nighttime driving and transporting pallets of newspapers to distribution sites Shifts typically range from 6 to 10 hours, and schedules are mostly fixed but may shift as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a box truck for deliveries.
Transport and unload palletized newspaper shipments using lift gates at most stops.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to distribution sites.
Occasionally break down pallets at the destination, requiring repeated handling of 25-50 lb bundles.
Adhere to DOT safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license (CDL not required).
DOT physical (Med Card) required.
Ability to pass a DOT drug test.
Capable of safely moving heavy loads and handling palletized products.
