BC Underground LLC is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish (deep gravity sewer experience preferred). An ideal candidate would be self-motivated, honest, driven, responsible and punctual, with a good work ethic, respect, and integrity with the ability to work well with others in a team environment. Must be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowing Spanish is a plus but not required.
You will organize and manage Underground Utilities Construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
Responsibilities
Review with our Estimating Department new jobs, review vendor quotes and material takeoffs. Manage the submittal process and collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
Manages ordering of supplies, equipment and materials for projects
Plan all site construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports for management
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
Schedule necessary inspections and prepare closeout papers
Basic understanding of estimating and bidding projects
You will be the liaison between field and office to facilitate communications
Skills
Proven experience as Underground Utilities construction project manager, deep gravity sewer experience a plus.
In-depth understanding of Underground Utilities construction procedures and material and project management principles.
Understanding of quality and health and safety standards.
Good knowledge of MS Office, familiarity of ProEst and Google Drive a plus
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to perform in a fast paced/high volume environment
Strong team player with the ability to adapt to diverse team members and leadership abilities.
Exceptional Critical Thinking skills
Detail Oriented- a high level of attention to detail is required
Work Environment
Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting, standing, walking and driving.
Must endure regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and rainy summer weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
Benefits:
Base salary $75,000.00
