About Us:

We are looking for a hands-on leader to directly manage on-site construction crews and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a company that values initiative, efficiency, and performance and has a healthy capital improvement budget.

Role Overview:

As the Renovation Operations Manager, you will oversee a crew of 10-15 laborers/tradesmen while coordinating and managing subcontracted projects. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the successful and timely renovation of apartment units, focusing on quality and efficiency. The role involves job sequencing, scheduling, and ensuring crews have the resources needed to complete work. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience managing tradesmen, sequencing tasks, and balancing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Directly manage a crew of 5-10 laborers/tradesmen performing full-unit renovations.

Oversee subcontracted work and ensure it aligns with project timelines and quality standards.

Coordinate job sequencing to maintain efficient workflows across multiple projects.

Inspect work and enforce high-quality standards for tasks such as vinyl flooring, millwork, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, fixtures, and paint.

Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.

Communicate effectively with team members, tradesmen, and subcontractors.

Troubleshoot issues on-site and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

Maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

2-5 years of construction experience, including direct management of tradesmen.

College degree preferred.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Experience with job sequencing and overseeing full-unit renovations.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Familiarity with renovation materials and processes (e.g., flooring, millwork, cabinetry, fixtures).

What We Offer:

Competitive salary ($80,000 - $100,000/year) with performance-based incentives.

Paid time off (PTO).
