We are currently in search of general maintenance manager for a busy family run business with rental properties in Lehigh Acres, Fort Myers and Cape Coral.
The primary focus is property turn-overs between tenants. These duties include:
- Detailed reports of the move-out condition including photos when properties become vacant
- Junk hauling as needed
- General repairs and paint as needed to vacant properties
- Coordinating deep cleaning and lawn maintenance until rented
- Getting bids for projects that require licensed contractors
- Overseeing laborers as necessary to expedite the process
Other duties:
- Occasional general handyman repairs and maintenance of single-family rental properties and duplexes.
- Regular communication with property manager
- Conduct routine property inspections of occupied homes and prepare reports for property
Requirements:
- Must have computer skills and access to receive work orders online, and communicate through email
- Handyman/carpentry skills with at least some basic understanding of electrical, painting, and plumbing
- Knowledge of well-water and septic systems preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC a bonus (possible increased compensation for this skill)
- Must have a reliable work truck/van with current registration and insurance as well as and your own basic tools. A trailer is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license and be able to pass a back-ground check
- Bi-lingual is preferred
Very competitive pay hourly to be negotiated. This is best suited for an individual with experience in managing their own time and projects with strong decision-making skills.
