Job Summary: Responsible for the repair and maintenance of HVAC systems utilizing knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical schematics, duct work, electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing, and mechanical layouts.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM- 6:00 PM and Nights and Weekends, when necessary, from 8:00 AM -8:00 PM. Overtime is common during the high seasons. Participation in the emergency service rotation is required.
Tasks & Responsibilities: Perform Tune-Up and Professional Cleanings on residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. Diagnose residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems to determine the cause of failure and repair systems as needed, or set up a replacement lead. Be knowledgeable of products and services that solve our customers' specific comfort needs. Arrive on time and ready to begin work every day. Possess all the required tools to perform the job of a service technician and maintenance technician. Complete every tune-up and service call thoroughly, efficiently, and without need for a callback. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital. Troubleshooting - Determining the causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about them. Dependability, the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
Possess a valid driver’s license. High School Diploma or GED Required, Technical school graduate preferred, EPA Certified Type I and II at a minimum
