Overview:
The Maintenance Tech and Porter position provides service and maintenance for buildings and facilities maintained by KOVA Facilities. The Maintenance Tech and Porter is involved in all aspects of repairs, debris removal, policing and inspecting all common areas of properties including stairwells and roofs.
Location:
This position requires travel between the buildings and facilities we maintain between Fort Myers, Estero, Bonita and Naples, Florida.

Qualifications/Requirements:
· Walking, bending, pushing, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs. (additional weight may be required with assistance)
· Able to safely work from ladder and lifts
· Able to work outside for long duration periods
· May be required to be on feet for long duration periods
· Clean & safe driving record
· Valid driver’s license
Duties:
· Inspect and police common areas of properties including stairwells and roofs
· Debris removal (pick up trash, sweeping, blowing, cobweb removal)
· Lightly maintain landscaping including removal of fallen tree limbs/palm fronds
· Light check and bulb replacement
· Check and set light timers
· Pressure washing
· Empty trash receptacles and ash urns
· Clean rain gutters
· Install signs and sign posts
· Fence repair
· Fill potholes
· Wipe handrails, benches, trash receptacles and mailboxes
· Ceiling tile replacement
· Clean vacant spaces
· Drywall patch & repair
· Painting
· Flooring repairs
· Plumbing fixture repairs
· Light carpentry
· Respond & troubleshoot leak calls (interior inspection above ceiling tile)
· Emergency cleanup
· Maintain organization and cleanliness of FACP, elevator, electrical and all storage rooms
· Test emergency lighting
· Roof checks & cleaning
· Respond to after-hours emergency calls
