Naples Pet Services has been steadily growing since its inception in 2019. Unlike traditional doggie daycare, Naples Pet Services pampers each pet in the comfort and familiar surroundings of our clients' homes. Our services extend beyond dogs and cats to include birds, small animals, reptiles, and exotics.
We currently service all of Naples and surrounding areas; we are hiring a Pet Care Specialist to add to our Naples team. We are hiring for part-time supplemental positions; at this time we are hiring for growth and not for current need. Once we have 2-3 employees in the area, we will start targeted marketing specifically in this area.
We are hiring for part time supplemental positions and seeking candidates with multiple day availability for:
Day time visits;
Mid-Day / Noon visits; or
Overnight visits (Note: Overnight visits are 12-hour visits in clients’ homes with start times scheduled between 5pm and 10pm)

The Pet Care Specialist position is ideal for pet loving individuals looking for an employer that is ready to accommodate YOUR schedule! This part-time supplemental position does not lock you into traditional work shifts/hours as we are not operated from a physical location; all of the pet care we provide is in the homes of our clients and upon their request, so scheduling will vary from week to week.
We offer our clients different types of visits for their pets, varying in length of time, which lend themselves to a variety of different schedules. We also offer flexibility regarding weekends and holidays.
Pet Care Specialist: You are paid per visit and the rate depends on the length of visits and the number of pets in the household. In addition, you will receive 100% of tips.
Pet Care Specialist responsibilities include:
Feeding and caring for pet(s) based on client specifications
Administering medication as necessary
Providing detailed written updates to clients after each visit, using our programmed software
Taking several pictures for clients and including in visit updates
Pet Care Specialist requirements:
Must enjoy and have experience caring for animals.
A minimum age of 18 years old is required with US work authorization
Reliable transportation
Reliable cell phone
High School diploma or GED
Able to communicate effectively and in a timely manner
Adept at problem solving
Time management ability to complete multiple tasks within visit timeframes
Comfortable walking outdoors in various conditions including heat and rain.
Completion of the skills tests and application questions outlined below
Pet Care Specialist Physical Requirements:
Good physical stamina and mobility including, but not limited to, the following:
Comfortable walking outdoors up to 3 miles in rain and/or heat
Capable of lifting or transporting up to 60 pounds, if required
