Job description
We are looking for a skilled HVAC Sales Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with experience in both installation and maintenance. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to ensure optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The HVAC Technician will work closely with clients, providing exceptional service while adhering to industry safety standards and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize efficiency and longevity.
- Diagnose and resolve heating, cooling, and refrigeration system issues.
- Read and interpret technical schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.
- Conduct equipment repairs, including welding, as needed.
- Assist with general property maintenance as required.
- Provide field service support, responding promptly and professionally to client service requests.
- Apply knowledge of ammonia refrigeration for specialized applications.
- Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to job sites.
- Qualifications & Skills:
Proficiency in HVAC/R system design, installation, and troubleshooting.
Strong background in property maintenance, including plumbing systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
Experience with equipment repair and preventive maintenance methodologies.
Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to explain technical issues in a clear, professional manner.
Problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
Welding skills for metal repairs or installations (preferred).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
