Ernest Hamilton Stone Crab is a renowned fishery located in Everglades City, Florida, and a long-standing pillar of the community. We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team and contribute to the success of our operations.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 32–40 per week
Work Location: In-person at 208 Camellia St W, Everglades City, FL 34139
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate data entry to ensure precise recording and reporting.
Organize and maintain file folders, ensuring proper documentation storage.
Handle payroll processing (ADP).
Run reports and communicate with the Accounting Staff to deliver critical information.
Reconcile and enter daily entries with attention to detail.
Assist with accounts receivable/payable, journal entries, inventory management, and account reconciliations.
Provide support in various administrative tasks as directed by management.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
Associate degree in Business or a related field is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Pass a background check.
