We are seeking motivated, dependable, and experienced lawn care and landscape professionals to join our rapidly growing company. We are a full-service lawn care and landscaping company that offers exceptional customer experience. Your primary responsibilities will include weekly lawn maintenance - mowing, string trimming, edging, hedge trimming, weed spraying, and blowing. This is a part-time position (approximately 20 hrs per week) that will grow into a full time position over the next 3-5 months. Primary work location is North Fort Myers with occasional work in Cape Coral.
We start work between 7-8am and end when the work is done for the day. That could be 2pm or 6pm. There is consideration for heavy rain and storms that may prevent us from completing our work for the day. There will be occasions for working on Saturday as well. This is NOT a 9am-5pm. Schedule flexibility is required. Must speak English and either be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S and will be asked to provide documentation.
Occasional responsibilities as additional projects arise:
1. Mulch, Rock & Hedge Install/refresh/maintenance
2. Flower Bed Install and Maintenance
3. Landscape Design and Install
4. Irrigation Work
5. Sod Installation
Required skill set:
1. You must have a valid U.S. driver’s license, have your own transportation, be able to drive, and have a clean driving record. If this is not the case, do not apply.
2. Dependability. The work is consistent, and so is our commitment to serving our clients. Each day, we get the job done regardless of time or hurdles we face.
3. Good Work Ethic. The work environment is outside, very strenuous, and often requires working in extreme weather conditions. You must be fit, healthy, and able to work in extreme heat and occasional light rain. We will not work when there is lightning.
4. Experience. Previous work experience in the lawn care and landscaping industry is required.
5. Professionalism. We take pride in how we interact with each other and our clients, treating everyone with respect and dignity. Smoking and vulgarity while on route will not be tolerated.
6. Speak English. We regularly communicate with clients. The ability to speak and understand English clearly is required.
7. Clean Background. We reserve the right to refuse employment due to criminal history.
Pay is $15-$20/hr and dependent on experience, skill set, work ethic, and tenure with TLC. Previous work experience will be verified and references are required. Including a resume is required when applying, so please have one prepared.
$250 bonus after 3 months of consistent, dependable employment. $250 bonus after 6 months of consistent, dependable employment. Bonuses are subjective and at the business and owner's discretion.
