DescriptionRobert Half is currently working with an established company in the Fort Myers area that has an immediate need for a Sr. Financial Analyst. You will conduct the improvement upon monthly and quarterly reporting, while also operationalize and cultivate data-driven planning processes. The Senior Financial Analyst will supervise the establishment of long-range operating plans to support business initiatives, developing rolling forecast processes to ensure resources are leveraged with maximum effectiveness, and driving world class strategic and financial planning methods. You will present variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments. To succeed in this role, you must have a successful track record of providing strategic analyses and recommendations as you will be directly involved in the coordination of various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks).Your responsibilities in this role

Conduct weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P&L forecasting

You will be closely engaged with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans

Accumulate and regulate forecasting reports

Support Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process

Submit monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

Facilitate effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

Discern and describe internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

Determine performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

Unite with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation and prioritization

Monitor monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources

5+ years experience as a Financial Analyst

Advanced / comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Strong budgeting/forecasting skills

Skillfulness in simplifying complex problems and building solutions

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, MBA preferred
