Reviews and oversees the Plant Sanitation Program, including working with Cleaning and Sanitation Chemical supplier(s) to determine best cleaning and sanitizing agents and methods for maintaining Company and Regulatory cleaning and sanitizing standards.
Completes associated documentation in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
Conducts investigations and root cause analysis on any customer complaints and quality issues pertaining to potential sanitation issues.
Assists in the direction of production personnel in sanitary, pest-control and allergen-control measures.
Confers with management, quality assurance, and production personnel on sanitation problems, and recommends changes in equipment, plant layout, lighting, ventilation, or work practices to improve sanitation standards and purity of product.
Manage sanitation preventive maintenance programs
Maintains all buildings by washing walls, ceilings, floors, removing trash and disinfects all water drains as needed.
Assists in the development, organization, and participation of staff in departmental training programs, provides on-going supervision and coaching to improve operations with positive reinforcement and goals.
Ensures GMP's are always met.
