Our growing company is looking for a professional Assistant Controller. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for daily functions which include financial reporting, revenue recognition, payroll, accounts payable, job cost analysis, month end balancing, HR management, and IT management.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze labor, job cost and financial reports.
Examine and review job cost records including time entry, work proposals, purchase orders, and billing invoices.
Process payroll
Communicate with vendors to ensure charges are accurate and payments are received promptly.
Audit system entry of the above job cost records and ensure the cost data is processed accurately and timely.
Analyze and make necessary adjustments for recognition of revenue on both installation and maintenance projects.
Oversee HR records are up to date and accurate.
Manage various IT solutions including, not limited to, phones, computers, account software.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
3 - 5 years related experience in a professional office setting with finance/accounting experience.
Management skills are preferred.
Proficiency in Excel.
Understanding ot accounting principles
Solid communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff within the organization.
Willingness to learn and adapt to change. Positive, optimistic, and ambitious
Available to work in office at Fort Myers, Florida
The candidate selected here will be able to pick, pack and ship products for the particular company. Also, if the person has forklift experience would be very helpful. You will be alble to conduct inventory. If you feel you have these skills please submit your application.
