Overview
We are seeking a skilled Intermodal Dispatcher or Intermodal Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in intermodal dispatching, knowledge of the all South Florida ports, Knowledge of the ship lines and ensuring efficient routing and scheduling of fleet vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule drivers for port pickup and delivery
- Utilize GPS and fleet management systems to monitor driver locations and progress
- Communicate with drivers to provide necessary instructions and updates
- Ensure timely delivery of goods by optimizing routes
- Handle customer inquiries regarding shipment status
- Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline operations
Experience
- Previous experience in intermodal dispatching or logistics preferred
- Knowledge of transportation management systems such as SOS, Ringcentral and more is a plus
- Familiarity with Samsara software for mapping and route optimization
- Strong understanding of the Intermodal transport industry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Miami port experience prefered

SALARY $1000-$1100 WEEKLY
