Location: Wellington, Florida
Schedule: Primarily Tuesdays & Fridays, flexible hours between 4 PM - 9 PM
Compensation: $200 per session
Overview:
I am seeking a meticulous and technologically adept individual to facilitate the creative processes of my art and mixed-media creation. This role is for someone with a strong ability to follow detailed instructions and who thrives in a hands-on, experimental environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation and manipulation of various technological tools, including computers, 3D printers, and actuators. You don't need to know how to work these things but you do need to be comfortable taking direction from someone who does for how to do so. You will be provided instructions and guidance but you need to be comfortable with these products.
- Execute precise tasks under direction to help bring artistic visions to life.
- Document and organize ideas and processes efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to ensure accuracy in project execution.
Requirements:
- Experience or keen interest in art, crafts, or mixed media.
- Strong competency with modern technology and openness to learning specific tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
- Good typing and note-taking skills—ability to capture rapid-fire ideas effectively.
- Must be a non-smoker, drug-free, and have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to accept payment via direct deposit and sign a confidentiality agreement prior to commencement.
Ideal Candidate:
- You are highly organized, meticulous, and have a steady hand necessary for precise, creative work. You need to be comfortable taking a paintbrush, for example, and putting glue on top of a computer screen. You have to be open-minded to things like this.
- Flexible in schedule and responsive to adjustments in project direction.
Additional Information:
This is not a caregiving position. As someone who uses an electric wheelchair, my focus is on leveraging your capabilities to bypass my physical limitations as I finalize a creative process that I will replicate in the future for subsequent pieces. This is the experimentation phase.
