We are looking for a Safety Officer for the night shift. This shift requires the employee to make several rounds to ensure that doors are locked, gates are secured, mark lights that are out, write violations, etc. Additionally, the employee must be able to turn off a valve in the event of a leak (employee will be properly trained).
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Access Control - Your primary function is the safety & security of this building & its occupants. You do that by maintaining control of who enters. When visitors arrive, whether they are contractors or guests, you confirm their destination & get owner permission to grant access and direct them where to properly park.
Customer Service – Every resident, guest, contractor must be treated with courtesy & respect and be friendly & helpful.
Communication - You must be able to speak and write effectively in English. Secondary language skills are always a plus.
Computer Skills & Phone Etiquette - Basic computer skills & proper phone etiquette is also necessary.
Record Keeping - You must be able to keep accurate & legible vehicle & access logs of guest and contractor arrivals/departures along with issuing of access cards and incident reports.
Enforcement – Enforcing the building regulations and policies. Reports all violations and reviews cameras.
Scheduling – Shifts Scheduling.
Payroll – Submit payroll.
Annual increases are considered and evaluated based on the employee’s reliability, performance, compliance, and enforcement.
