AIP is hiring Unarmed Male Detention Officers for our Krome ICE Detention Center (Adult Male Housing Unit)
Hourly Rate: $33.16/per hour and $2500 Sign on Bonus for selected qualified hires and $3500 Sign on Bonus for selected qualified hires with current DHS ICE Clearance
We will be holding a job fair for qualified candidates!
Dates: January 24th to January 27th
Hours: 8:30 AM- 5:30 PM
Location: Miccosukee Resort and Casino located at 500 SW 177th Ave Miami, FL 33194 in Ballroom B.

You must meet the below minimum requirements to be considered and will be checked at the job fair entrance:
- US citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the United States for permanent residence and must have resided in the U.S. for the last three years and must maintain current/physical residency in the continental United States.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- A minimum of 1 year of security, law enforcement or military experience
- Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check (no criminal record).
- Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance (Clearance processing time varies and may take up to several months to obtain before a start date)
- Speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Pass a medical examination, all pre-employment/random drug tests, and meet health requirements.
- Possess a valid state driver's license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Florida state security guard license.
- This position requires that candidates have not been terminated from a previous employer for cause.
- This position requires the candidate to maintain physical fitness standards and must be able to pass and maintain required physical testing requirements and standards
