A Warehouse Receiver is responsible for managing the intake of goods into a warehouse, ensuring shipments are accurately checked, documented, and stored properly. Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inspecting Shipments:
Verifying the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage or defects, and identifying any discrepancies.
Documenting and Recording:
Accurately logging incoming shipments, updating inventory records, and maintaining detailed documentation of any issues or returns.
Staging and Storing:
Unloading shipments from trucks or other vehicles, moving goods to designated storage areas, and organizing inventory for efficient retrieval.
Inventory Management:
Participating in inventory audits, maintaining stock levels, and potentially placing orders for both inventory and shipping supplies.
Communication and Collaboration:
