We're seeking a Logistics coordinator who prepares, routes, and manages a company’s purchase orders. Their main duties include reviewing shipment details before distributions, collaborating with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups and monitoring shipment costs and productivity processes.
Responsibilities
Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
Responding to customer inquiries and following up with shipments.
Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
Tracking and fixing shipping errors
Preparing bills and invoices
Managing distribution and shipment budgets
Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:
Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Schedules appointments for containers and truckloads to be picked up & dropped off.
Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.

Forklift operation and/or warehouse experience preferred
English & Spanish Required
Salary 40 Hours a week No Weekends- Compensation will be discussed in Interview
Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday 9 AM to 6 PM
