We are a reputable construction company seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our project management team and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of the construction industry, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with the building permitting process, including application preparation and submission.
-Coordinate and manage project schedules for the project management team.
-Arrange and schedule meetings with internal teams and clients.
-Maintain accurate filing systems for project-related paperwork and documentation.
-Provide reliable transportation to visit building departments and other relevant locations as needed.
-Demonstrate a high level of reliability and accountability in all aspects of the role.
-Take initiative in identifying and addressing administrative needs within the team.
Qualifications:
-Bilingual in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
-Strong knowledge of the building permitting process and related documentation.
-Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
-Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
-Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to local building departments as required.
-Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred, but not required.
