Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team and contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set encompassing mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance abilities.
Responsibilities:
-Perform routine maintenance and repairs around the residence, including plumbing, electrical, and general handyman tasks.
-Handle cleaning duties as required, including floor care, polish stainless steel, and other household cleaning tasks.
-Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
-Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
-Ensure that all maintenance and cleaning activities are performed to high standards.
-Adapt to changing tasks and priorities as needed.
Skills:
-Proficient in English and Spanish for effective communication with team members and vendors.
-Strong electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
-Experience in facilities maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry
-Ability to use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and basic power tools
-Mechanical knowledge for diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues
-Customer service skills to interact professionally with tenants or employees
-Ability to perform cleaning tasks effectively and to a high standard.
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to varying tasks.
-Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
-Reliable and trustworthy with a keen attention to detail.
-Valid driver’s license and transportation will be required.
-Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
