Compensation:
\$22–\$24/hour for experienced technicians
\$18–\$20/hour for entry-level candidates with no prior experience (training provided). Must be bilingual English and Spanish.
Job Summary:
We are hiring a GPR Scanning Technician to support our construction projects with subsurface scanning and analysis. This position is responsible for using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology to detect rebar, post-tension cables, conduits, and other embedded objects in concrete and soil. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate GPR equipment on active construction sites to locate and map subsurface objects.
Mark out scan results on-site with accuracy and clarity.
Interpret scan data and assist in preparing field reports as needed.
Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and clients to ensure accurate and timely scanning.
Maintain and transport scanning equipment in good working condition.
Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and job site regulations.
Travel to various project locations as required.
Requirements (Experienced Level):
Minimum 1 year of hands-on GPR scanning experience in construction or related fields.
Ability to interpret GPR data and communicate findings effectively.
Familiarity with concrete scanning, structural plans, and construction terminology.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Requirements (Entry-Level):
No experience required; training will be provided.
Must be dependable, eager to learn, and able to follow directions.
Comfortable working outdoors and in construction environments.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be bilingual English and Spanish
