Full-Time Live-In Caregiver & Housekeeper Needed Urgently

About Us:
We are a warm and welcoming Muslim family residing in a spacious 6-bedroom home within a gated community in Miramar. Our household includes:
Myself, Yasemin: University professor and family mediator
My husband: Businessman working from home
Two children: Ages 10 and 16
Two cats
Important Note: Our home is strictly free from pork, alcohol, and drugs. We expect the same adherence from our employees.
About My Dad:
Age: 91
Conditions: Advanced Alzheimer’s and Dementia
Mobility: Primarily wheelchair-bound; limited walking; frequent rest periods
Your Living Arrangements:
Shared room with my dad to assist during nighttime awakenings
Room includes: Two single beds, nightstand, drawers, and a spacious closet for your belongings
Primary Responsibilities:
Personal Care:
Assist with daily showers
Change disposable underwear 4-5 times daily
Administer medications (crushing and mixing with food when necessary)
Aid in bathroom visits and ensure cleanliness using gloves and sanitizing wipes
Maintain cleanliness of his bedding and clothing
Prepare and provide three nutritious meals daily
Emotional Support:
Manage occasional irritability and tantrums with patience and compassion
Secondary Responsibilities (During My Dad’s Rest Periods):
Collaborate with our live-in house manager/nanny in:
Daily upkeep of the ground floor: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, TV room, living, and dining areas
Meal preparation assistance
Laundry duties for my dad and yourself
Tidying the backyard/patio
Assisting during family gatherings
Work Schedule:
6 days a week with 1 weekday off
Flexibility to accompany my dad to medical appointments or assist with children’s activities
Preferred: Valid driver’s license (vehicle provided if needed)
Ideal Candidate:
Female
Basic English proficiency preferred (Spanish speakers are welcome; we’re open to learning!)
No specific certifications or U.S. citizenship required
Qualities: Caring, responsible, self-motivated, gentle, patient, cheerful, hardworking, calm, ethical, and drama-free

Compensation:
Monthly Net Income: $2,000
Benefits: You can save all your income because by living with us, you will have no living expenses (no rent, no utilities, no internet, no gas, no insurance, no groceries etc). We cover everything including your personal hygiene supplies as well as assistance with monthly wire transfer fees if supporting family abroad. We can pay you weekly or monthly, up to you.
