Hi. I'm a 47 y/o extremely active quadriplegic. I am a busy professional living in Aventura. I am looking for a home health assistant to help me with starting my day during the week (Mon-Fri). Once I'm ready, I am fully independent and go about my day. This job entails about 4-5 hours a day. Start times may change from time to time, so I need someone with a very flexible schedule. Also, rarely, I may need you to come back in case of emergency.
Some of the activities include assistance in bathroom with personal hygiene, dressing, and at times, running minor errands. A driver's license and a car are necessary. ENGLISH SPEAKING IS A MUST. Experience is welcome, but not necessary, as I can instruct. Above all, I need someone responsible, compassionate, and with a strong work ethic. Just as important though is empathy and the right personality for the job. This is caring for another human, not a typical 9-5 desk job. Punctuality is must, as if my help is late, I'm late. Just as important is having a positive, easy-going, social, yet responsible personality, to match mine. This job is perfect for a student looking to make extra money, or someone in the health care field, who works different shifts.
