At KN Private Homecare, LLC., A Home Health Aide works in the field with clients and referral sources. Job Relationships: -Supervised by: Care Coordinator Lifting Requirements: Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary: -Ability to participate in physical activity. -Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity. -Heavy lifting. -Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry.
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as necessary.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with memory care and working with seniors is a plus.
- Knowledge of tube feeding and hospice care is beneficial.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing client needs.
