Job Duties & Requirements
As a cook, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Preparation and Organization:
Ensure that your assigned station is stocked and ready for service prior to opening
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area throughout your shift
Prepare all dishes according to established recipes
Food Handling and Safety:
Properly label and date all food items when stored
Practice the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to ensure food freshness
Adhere to all HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all food offerings
Kitchen Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the entire kitchen
Minimize waste and account for it accurately
Assist in support duties as necessary to maintain a smooth operation
Time Management and Teamwork:
Meet deadlines effectively and efficiently
Arrive punctually for scheduled shifts
Work well under pressure
Collaborate with the team to create an exceptional guest experience
Goal Setting and Communication:
Set and meet goals to ensure productivity and quality standards
Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and leadership
Act as a representative of the venue at all times, upholding its values
Food Safety Certification:
Possess a valid Servesafe (or equivalent) certification
Additionally, as a member of our team, you may be assigned other reasonable tasks by leadership that are outside the scope of your explicit job duties listed above. By accepting this position, you acknowledge and agree to complete these tasks in addition to your primary responsibilities.
