Tartastic is a wholesale bakery with kitchen crew working Monday to Friday, daytime hours. We are seeking an experienced Pastry Cook to join our team. This shift will most likely be from 10am to 6pm (give or take 30 minutes for lunch break- family meal provided).

Duties Include:
Daily preparation of a variety of baked goods, such as scones, biscuits, muffins, loaves, cookies, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food preparation is conducted in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area, ensuring all workstations are stocked with necessary supplies.
Collaborate and communicate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely daily production.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a pastry cook in a restaurant/hotel, or a culinary degree.
Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to adhere to health regulations.
Familiarity with various kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Creativity in developing new pastry recipes is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
