FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibility of a Team Member is to provide exceptional experiences for guests. As the face of the restaurant, you will engage directly with customers to take orders, offer menu recommendations, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages. A friendly, professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are key to contributing to the success of the establishment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Excellent communication skills, comfortable speaking directly with customers, and providing exceptional customer service.
Receive, process, and manage takeout and delivery orders from various platforms, including phone calls, online orders, and 3rd-party delivery services.
Accurately input orders into the restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system and accept payments. Verify order details to ensure correct items, quantities, and special requests. Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and packaging.
Carefully assemble and package orders to maintain food quality and presentation standards. Pay attention to proper packaging techniques to avoid spills, leaks, or damage during transportation.
Process payments for takeout orders, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital (tap, phone) payment methods. Ensure accurate cash handling and proper reconciliation of sales at the end of each shift.
Clean-up and organize customer area, production area, and back-room / storage
Prepare and re-stock products
Follow opening or closing store guidelines
Works as part of the team with both Front and Back of the house and provides support to other team members in their duties
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
Strong multitasking and time management skills.
Attention to detail, ensuring accurate order-taking and payment processing.
Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including awareness of dietary restrictions and allergies.
Basic math skills to manage payments and calculate tips.
Fluency in English is required, with knowledge of Spanish highly valued to facilitate effective communication in a multicultural environment and ensure high-quality customer service.
Knowledge of how to use the Square system for payment and order management is required.
