Building Facade Inspector / Estimating Support – Fulltime/Part-Time or Contract
Miami/Fort Lauderdale
We’re a construction company looking for someone who knows building exteriors and how to spot problems — especially issues caused by water leaks or damage. We need help figuring out what’s wrong, what needs to be done to fix it, and how much it’ll cost.
This role is great for a retired contractor or engineer, or someone with experience in insurance claims or building inspections. You’ll be out in the field — not stuck behind a desk — looking at real buildings and helping us put together repair estimates.
What You'll Be Doing:
Visit buildings and look at the exterior (stucco, concrete, sealants, coatings, etc.)
Spot problems like cracks, leaks, peeling coatings, damaged joints, and more
Figure out the cause of the issue and what kind of work is needed to fix it
Take measurements and calculate areas for pricing (you need to know how to measure and do basic take-offs)
Work with our sales and estimating team to help build the proposal
What We're Looking For:
Construction or building experience (10+ years preferred)
Can spot water damage, stucco issues, spalling concrete, bad sealants, etc.
Know how to measure, do basic math, and figure out areas and quantities
Reliable, hardworking, and good at solving problems
Team player with a strong work ethic
Must like being on job sites and not afraid to get your hands dirty
Nice to Have:
Retired GC, engineer, or insurance adjuster
Experience with building envelopes or exterior systems
Good communication skills
What We Offer:
Flexible part-time or contract work
Fair pay based on your experience
Work that keeps you active and out in the field
A solid, supportive team
To apply: Send us a quick email with your work experience or resume. If it sounds like a good fit, we’ll give you a call.
