Job Description:

As a preschool Teacher at Sol Academy, you will play a vital role in the development and growth of our students. You will create a loving, safe, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Our ideal candiate is enthusiastic about early childhood education, willing to learn Conscious Discipline strategies and be a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the High Scope Curriculum

Foster a positive classroom environment where children feel safe, respected and valued.

Utilize Conscious Discipline techniques to promote emotional regulation and conflict resolution

Encourage creative expression through art, music, movement, and play based learning.

Collaborate with parents and coworkers

Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or CDA

DCF Transcripts up to date

CPR certificate

Background Screening

VPK and SR qualified preferred

Experience working with preschool children

Strong communication skills

Ability to collaborate with a team of educators

Flexible attitude

Problem solver

Passionate about education and children a must!
