As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our Alteration boutique and Dry Cleaning business. You will interact directly with customers, ensuring they have a positive experience from drop-off to pick-up. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers, handling transactions, processing orders from tagging to packing, addressing inquiries and concerns, and maintaining an organized and efficient front counter area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, with drop-offs and pickups.
-Handle customer transactions and maintain accurate records on our computer POS system
-Handle cash and credit transactions, including reconciling end of day sales
-Tag, sort and pack garments as per order requirements.
-Answers phones, schedules appointments and communicates with customers, alterations and dry cleaning staff about work orders as needed.
-Maintains the store clean and orderly, including sweeping, mopping and dusting
-Assist alterations and dry cleaning department with steaming, pressing and spot cleaning merchandise as needed
-Address customer inquiries and ensure excellent customer service.
-Assist with minor issues and escalate when necessary.
-Other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual - English and Spanish is preferred
-Previous experience in customer service, specifically working dry cleaning setting preferred, not required.
-Must be friendly, professional, and able to offer excellent customer service.
-Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work efficiently.
-Ability to prioritize and multitask
-Able to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
