Association Accountants Receivable Clerk (Fort Lauderdale)
Overview:
As an Association Accountants Receivable Clerk, your work will ensure meticulous record keeping, adherence to regulations, and insightful accounts receivable analysis. Your contribution will drive our mission of excellence in managing HOAs and Condo Associations, making a tangible impact on our clients. The Association Accounts Receivable Clerk also provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of our company.

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable function is required or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency in accounting software and in Microsoft Office suite including but not limited to; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Good understanding of HOA & Condo regulations and financial best practices
Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills creating effective customer-focused relationships with all levels within the organization.
Have a great attitude and able to work calmly under tight deadlines and use time effectively based on key priorities
Responsibilities:
Manage and process customer charges, payments and account reconciliation
Initiate collection procedures for delinquent accounts and generate NOLAs “Notice Of Late Assessment”
Prepare collection packet to send to attorneys
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
Provide exceptional customer service to build lasting relationships
Ensure AR general ledger balance matches total ledgers for homeowners
Interacting with board members, property managers and support personnel
Complete special projects as necessary

A consideration might be given to the right candidate who has a focus on basic accounting tasks while demonstrating strong technical skills and understanding of accounting principles.

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm
