ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR
We are looking for a proven Accounting Administrator to oversee and perform a variety of accounting duties such as, but not limited to, day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, daily deposits, data entry etc. who will work closely with the controller. This position offers a forward-thinking candidate intragenerational mobility.
Candidate must possess:
bachelor degree in accounting is a minimum.
Proven work experience in an accounting/bookkeeping or similar role.
Advanced knowledge of Excel (creating spreadsheets and using financial formulas).
Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors.
Great organizational, time-management and analytical thinking skills.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Software Experience: Advanced MS Office. QuickBooks, SAP and JD Edwards a plus
Wholesale Distributor/Direct sales accounting knowledge helpful.
Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
Cash receipts/payments
Cash flow reporting
Bank Reconciliations
General ledger/Journal Entries
Monitor accounting data
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
Meet financial accounting objectives
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
