Description We are offering a long-term part-time contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Deland, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing financial transactions and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our organization's financial health, including grant accounting, and financial reporting.Responsibilities: Accurately record financial transactions and maintain precise records Conduct reconciliation of bank accounts and financial statements Oversee accounts payable and receivable Compile financial reports and budgets Ensure compliance with financial regulations Support grant management and reporting activities Collaborate with external auditors Maintain organized financial documentation Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintain accurate customer credit records.Requirements Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar position Proven expertise in Account Reconciliation Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary Demonstrable skills in Bookkeeping and Data Entry Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience in Month End Close procedures is essential Must have hands-on experience with QuickBooks Experience in Federal Grant, Government Grants, Grant Accounting, and Grant Management is necessaryRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
